While the one committed suicide after police in Colorado arrested him. Two of them, Donald and Joseph were executed through lethal injection while there is no detail about the other two.

Murphy’s execution date was frequently postponed because he made some religious-related appeal with each new execution date.

In response, the department changed its policy to prohibit spiritual advisors, regardless of religion, from being present in the execution chamber. The state then rescheduled the execution for November 13, 2019.

However, on Nov 7, the supreme court stayed his execution to determine whether his religious discrimination lawsuit had merit.

Similarly, Halprin’s execution was stayed on October 4, 2019, by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals due to concerns about racial and religious discrimination from his trial judge.

Since the judge who presided over his case held anti-Semitic views. According to Independent UK, A state district judge announced Monday that Halprin will face a new capital murder trial.

As a result, both of the cases are currently under review.

What Happened To Patrick Murphy? Is He Arrested Or Executed?

Partick Murphy was arrested on the charge of multiple robberies and the murder of a police officer. They murdered her near Dallas in 2000 while on the run for more than a month.

However, he repeatedly stated that he had not fired the gun. “My role was essentially to be the getaway driver,” Murphy explained.

He was in a stolen vehicle in front of the store when the officer was shot 11 times.

Murphy, like the other five surviving escapees, was sentenced to death when they were apprehended a month later. But Murphy believes he does not deserve to die because he did not fire shots.

On the other hand, his prosecutor believes he should be executed because he alerted the others to the officer’s impending arrival.

Prosecutors also claim that Murphy’s own words after being arrested indicate that if given the chance, he would have fired on the officer.
