Naomi Judd had a brother called Brian. He died of Leukaemia at the age of 17. Judd was born to Pauline Ruth and Charles Glen Judd.

Noami Judd also died on April 20, 2022, at the age of 76. Ashley Judd announced her death in a statement on social media mentioning that she died of mental illness.

After her last tour, Judd developed depression, anxiety, panic attacks, oedema, baldness, tremors and suicidal thoughts.

In 2016, Naomi Judd opened up about mental illness during an appearance on Good Morning America, saying she has been diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety.

The singer mentioned at the time that she would not leave the house for three weeks, not get out of her pyjamas and also not practice hygiene.
