Huerta was born on January 29, 1981, in Ecatepec de Morelos, State of Mexico. His father, a movie enthusiast, enrolled him in a Mara Elena Saldana acting class, and Huerta later studied under Carlos Torres Torrija and Luis Felipe Tovar.
