Spotify Releases Documentary To Celebrate 10 Years Of Afrobeats Label, ‘YBNL’
Spotify, an internet based music real time stage, has delivered a smaller than expected narrative to praise the 10th commemoration of the Afrobeats mark, “YBNL”, established by Nigerian music symbol, Olamide.
Phiona Okumu, Spotify’s Head of Music, Sub-Saharan Africa, unveiled this in an explanation on Saturday, October 29, 2022.
Okumu said to celebrate 10 years of the amazing Nigerian name, Spotify rampaged of Lagos to report its impact.
“Spotify today delivered a small scale narrative to commend the tenth commemoration of YBNL, the way of life moving Afrobeats mark established by Nigerian music symbol, Olamide.
“Throughout the span of 10 years, YBNL has gained notoriety for taking the hints of the road to worldwide ears through displaying Afrobeats stars and creating authoritative hits.
“You can follow the pivotal YBNL story through the voices of music sweethearts in the city of Lagos here,” she said.

Okumu noticed that starting around 2012, Olamide had found, created, and traded a portion of Nigeria’s most brilliant music stars through YBNL.
She said from beginning to date, a portion of the gifts marked or embraced included Adekunle Gold, Lil Kesh, Fireboy, Asake, Pheelz, Youthful Jonn, DJ Enimoney, Zlatan, Naira Marley, T.I Blast, Ycee, Viktoh, Chinko Ekun, and some more.
