Pierre Gasly is a French racing driver who currently races for Scuderia AlphaTauri in Formula One under the French flag.

He was born on February 7, 1996, in Rouen, France. Gasly won the 2016 GP2 Series and finished second in the 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 Series and 2017 Super Formula Championship.

Gasly began karting at the age of six at a local karting track in Anneville-Ambourville. Gasly grew up with the late Anthoine Hubert, karting with him since he was seven years old, attending the same private school as him, and sharing a room with him for several years.

At the 2017 Malaysian Grand Prix, he made his Formula One debut with Toro Rosso. Gasly joined Red Bull Racing in 2019 before returning to Toro Rosso to partner Daniil Kvyat after swapping with Alexander Albon from Toro Rosso between the Hungarian and Belgian rounds.

While driving with AlphaTauri, he won his first Formula One race at the 2020 Italian Grand Prix.
