Rubin is best known as the founder and CEO of e-commerce services company Kynetic. Michael started a ski-tuning shop out of his parents’ basemen at 12 years old. He opened a ski shop at 14 using money from his bar mitzvah gifts. By the time he was 16 Rubin was $200,000 in debt. Before entering college he grew the business to five ski shops. He sold his ski shops and started the company KPR sports. The company bought and sold over-stock sports equipment.
