Nicholas Scott Cannon, an American comedian, actor, rapper, and television host, was born on October 8, 1980.

Cannon began his television career as a teen on All That before hosting The Nick Cannon Show, Wild ‘n Out, America’s Got Talent, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, and The Masked Singer. Drumline, Love Don’t Cost a Thing, and Roll Bounce was among his cinematic roles.

In 2003, he released his self-titled first album, which included the track “Gigolo,” a duet with singer R. Kelly.

In the 2007 film Goal II: Living the Dream, he played the fictional footballer TJ Harper. Cannon recorded the tracks “Dime Piece” and “My Wife” for the upcoming album Stages in 2006, but it was never published.

Cannon was married to Mariah Carey, an American singer. He has seven children from his marriage to Carey, the eldest two of which are twins.
