The Voice UK 2019: Sir Tom Jones CUT OFF by heckler before choking up over Deana Walmsley

THE VOICE UK 2019 continued March 30th evening and Sir Tom Jones was left stunned at one point when he was interrupted by a heckler as he gave feedback to Nicole Dennis. The moment came before he choked up over Deana Walmsley’s performance.

That  night on The Voice UK, Sir Tom Jones was interrupted by a member of the studio audience as he gave his opinion on Nicole’s semi-final performance.

The 78-year-old began: “Well, you’ve got a strong voice, you’ve got a wonderful voice.“You sang really well. I liked the song choice.”Before Sir Tom could continue, a heckler cut him off and shouted: “She sings with her heart!”

While Nicole’s mentor Jennifer Hudson was shocked by the outburst, Sir Tom was ever the professional.

He simply replied: “Quite right! You took the words out of m mouth!”

Just moments later, the music icon left viewers in tears as he was seen getting choked up over Deana Walmsley’s performance.

Leaves and Sir Tom was visibly moved. Taking to Twitter to comment on his reaction, one viewer shared: “#TheVoiceUK Tom Jones looks very sad tonight – want to give him a big hug.”

Another added: “Awwww Tom Jones welling Up has made me well up #TheVoiceUK.”

Awww Tom. Why has that song upset him #TheVoiceUK,” a third continued.

Someone else shared: “When Tom cries I cry #TheVoiceUK.”

Deana made it through to the final of The Voice along with Sir Tom’s other act Bethzienna.

Both of his acts will go up against Olly Murs’ contestants Jimmy Balito and Molly Hocking.

Jennifer and wil.i.am both lost their acts ahead of the final round.

Last night’s show saw host Emma Willis left slightly red-faced as Olly joked he would strip off.

After Bethzienna performed alongside some rather scantily clad men, who were covered in gold paint, Olly offered himself up.

Giving his feedback, he joked: “If you ever need a naked man!”

Emma’s jaw dropped as she tried to move the conversation along: “Oh yeah… I know what you mean Olly.”
