Nepalese mountaineer Nirmal Purja’s wife Suchi Purja is a dental therapist and hygienist by profession and is an integral part of her husband’s journey.

Nirmal Purja is an inspiring Nepalese mountaineer who holds the title for climbing all 14 eight-thousanders within six months and six days. 

He is currently the subject of Netflix’s documentary titled “14 Peaks: Nothing is Impossible.”

The documentary tells the real story of Purja’s struggles and attempts to climb all 14 of the world’s 8,000-meter mountains in a record time of under seven months, reported meaww.com.

It also showed his story from his training days and shed some light on his personal life as well. The documentary features his wife Suchi Purja and tells how she became an integral part of his life.

14 Peaks: Who Is Nirmal Purja Wife Suchi Purja?

Mountaineer Nirmal Purja married his long-term partner and wife Suchi Purja in 2006. 

Suchi, born in 1988, holds British nationality and is settled in the United Kingdom at present. She and Purja first met in the early 2000s and dated for around five or six years before tying the knot.

She is extremely supportive of her spouse and his passion. She tries not to stress herself out whenever he goes out on one of his expeditions. 

On a professional front, she is a Dental Therapist and Hygienist in the United Kingdom. She started taking an interest in mountaineering after marrying Purja. 

Suchi has even accompanied her husband in some of his adventures and helps him in his business as well. 

Mr. Purja is the owner of two businesses. Suchi is an integral part of both of his companies. She is one of the directors of one of his companies, Nims Dai Ltd, which was established in 2020.

For their other company Mountain Philanthropy Limited, the couple collaborated with English mountaineer Paul Vincent Maher and business executive Juliet Silvester.
